New Video, Japan Publisher Announced
In 2009 GameOn signed a publishing contract with XLGAMES for an unannounced game. No one was really paying attention at the time, but when ArcheAge was officially announced in early 2010 the puzzle pieces seemed to fall into place. *
Now we know for sure the plans that GameOn has for ArcheAge in Japan. NeoWiz, GameOn’s parent company, plans on reviving a social gaming platform named “Pmang” to distribute and support the game. It seems their plan is to combine Korea’s Pmang with Japan’s GameOn to boost sales and territorial coverage. There’s even talk of NeoWiz taking the platform worldwide!
Anyhow, join us in welcoming Japan’s gamers into the global ArcheAge community!
The future for ArcheAge in other territories looks even brighter now. What will the rest of the year bring? We can only hope that North America’s and Europe’s publisher will be revealed soon as well.
Thanks goes to ArcheAge-Online.de for watching the GameOn livestream and catching this information!

ArcheAgeSource Investigates the Rumors
There’s a rumor being circulated around the internet concerning a potential publisher for ArcheAge in Europe. Fansite ArcheAgeSource.com took it upon itself to collect as much information about the rumor as it could.
The internet’s abuzz with rampant rumors about NCsoft Europe publishing ArcheAge in their territory. We at ArcheAgeSource had our eye on the rumor since it’s original appearance, but we’ve had our interest renewed after being contacted by XLGAMES concerning their origin.
Tthe rumor was crossposted in multiple forums the same day it was posted at MMORPG.com. It’s difficult to say with certainty that MMORPG.com’s forums are the very first instance of the rumor, especially since ArcheAgeSource.com’s staff isn’t fluent in many languages other than English.
